About GivFwd

Infrastructure repairs funded by the people who use the roads every day.

GivFwd is a community funding platform for small infrastructure repairs. Citizens report potholes, rubble, water leaks, streetlight failures, safety hotspots and beautification opportunities. The platform costs each repair, invites community support and dispatches a verified provider to fix it.

How it works

One conversation

No complicated forms. Report an issue, confirm the location, add photos and Thapelo turns it into a costed case.

Community funding

When a repair has a price, everyone on the platform is invited to chip in. Corporate sponsors match citizen pledges rand for rand.

Local crews

Verified providers accept the job, upload before-and-after evidence and get paid when the work is confirmed.

Transparent closure

Every case has an audit trail from report to closure. Reporters validate the repair before the case is closed.

What can be reported?

The platform started with potholes but handles any small field-service issue: rubble and dangerous objects in the road, community safety hotspots, opportunities to beautify public space, water leaks, streetlight failures, illegal dumping and more.
